What ever shall I talk about?
Last night I saw the movie
Happily Never After. The animation was nice, but the plot was rather bland and you could see the ending from the beginning. But it was fun anyway. The main idea is that there is a wizard that lives in the royal palace in the
highest room in the tallest tower top of the tower, who watches over the Fairy Tales and keep the scales of Good and Evil balanced. He has two minions who are voiced by Andy Dick and Wallace Shawn (at one point when Shawn's character was getting upset, one of the people watching the movie with me shouted "Inconceivable!"). The Wizard goes on vacation in Scotland, and we see where things can go awry. (The wizard is wearing robes but he changes into a kilt before he goes, eliciting the comment "Does he know hes wearing a skirt?"
But he was just wearing a dress.) Anyway, This whole time we have been narrated by Freddy Prince Jr.'s character who is reveled to be the royal servant Rick. The main story is that of Cinderella, and Ella, Sarah Michelle Gellar, is in love with Prince Charming. Who is an idiot (and voiced superbly by Patrick Warburton, I just love him). Rick's narration is laced with "Ella is so beautiful"'s and "Why is she in love with the Prince?"'s. You can see where this is going, right? So the whole time he is saying that he is such a plain guy, blah blah blah. The we see his character. CUTE! I mean as cute as a cartoon character can be. Its just so predictable. Anyway, RedBox has it, and for a dollar I guess its worth seeing simply for Patrick Warburton, the seven dwarves, Cindy's ridiculously huge bustles, and the line "You look so pretty, Salmonella!" coming from Fairy Godmother.
That's all for now I guess.
("Off to the ball, mozzarella!")
P.S. Is it really spelled dwarfs? That just doesn't sound/look right to me.
